If you like QVC home shopping, you will love the QVC Outlet! Delaware hosts two centrally located sites in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach. I have shopped the Wilmington outlet, located in Prices Corner Shopping Center, several times. The outlet carries the same merchandise as QVC TV and QVC.com, except for the quantity, at fantastic discounts! Outlet merchandise prices are 20%-40% less than the original prices. However, coupled with additional weekly discounts, discount savings skyrocket to 50% - 80%!

The Wilmington outlet has an extensive jewelry collection of silver, gold, gemstones, watches and fashion jewelry. Brand names include Diamonique, EternaGold, RLM, Affinity, Honora, Judith Ripka, and Joan Rivers Classic Collections. Designer handbags such as Dooney&Burke, B.Makowsky, and Tignanello are a fraction of the department store prices. Note: Jewelry and D&B customers must take a number and are limited to 10-minute service, sales personnel use stopwatches!

Apart from the jewelry counter, the rest of the store is in disarray. Bargain hunters used to a warehouse theme like MARSHALLS and TJMAXX will be in their glory. The outlet may have less floor space than the designer discount giants have, but it is crammed with just as much merchandise! Clothing racks overflow with women’s apparel. Designer names include Spanx, Isaac Mizrahi, Dennis Basso, and Rachel Zoe. The shoe section is tidy but size order is chaotic. Some brands are Aerosoles, Birkenstock, Clarks, and Ryka. Warehouse style shelving holds most merchandise and several open cardboard boxes are dotted throughout. Due to the lack of space merchandise sections combine some unusual groupings, so look around. Items in the Accessory section include; fitness, toys, electronics, gadgets, outdoor, home improvement, Lori Greiner jewelry boxes, furniture and more. The Kitchen section has a large selection of ironware, and pots and pans plus a variety of kitchen electronics, gadgets, dishes, bowls, and flatware. Brand names include Cuisinart, Keurig, Rachael Ray, and Lock&Lock. Some of the Home Décor items include; comforters, quilts, blankets, sheet sets, linens, Bethlehem Lights, Cottage Farms, and Marie Osmond Dolls. Most merchandise is current, recently televised, and available on the web site.

QVC outlets do not advertize but local stores do have a mailing list. A monthly flyer highlights the weekly specials; however, after 2 years and several requests, I have yet to receive a flyer. I suggest that you check QVC.com, under outlets, for weekly specials and to sign-up for E-mail notification. Extra special discounts bring in the crowds, so shop early!
